I’m an analytical and compassionate UX designer and user advocate based in Denver. It’s my mission to build a fairer world through accessible design. If forced to choose, I'd tell you that I specialize in content design and information architecture, but I’m interested in generalist roles that allow me to engage in multiple parts of the process.

My journey into UX started well before my career change. I am transitioning from screen-printing, where I leveraged knowledge of end-to-end processes and coworkers’ needs to improve workflows and peer experiences.  I had the privilege of learning the principles of Lean Six Sigma early in my printing career, which spurred my interest in efficiency. After seven years, I realized that what satisfied me on any given day had nothing to do with printing - I'm happiest when I'm solving problems. I’m in UX because I find joy in making processes easy, efficient, and enjoyable for others.

My passion for problem-solving extends to all areas of my personal life. If you let me, I'll wax on and on about ultra running, how it's a never-ending pursuit of self-improvement, and why my running friends know me as an armchair physical therapist. Alternatively, I could bore enchant you with an explanation of the Beatles game I'm designing. Wind me up and watch me go.

Designing and running aside, my interests include sport climbing, Stevie Wonder’s classic period, the Paul is Dead theory, and convincing my girlfriend to get me a dog. Let's work together.

Hey! I’m Steve.
